Haix Safety Boots.

The early beginings of the iconic and now world famous Haix Safety Boots were in 1948 with the establishment of the Haimerl Xaver shoe factory – or HAIX for short which was Based in the Bavarian town of Mainburg.

The company quickly made a name for itself by selling hiking and work boots under various brand names.

In 1992 a new CEO, Ewald Haimerl, son of the firm’s founder, was appointed.

As well as being a certified master shoemaker, Ewald was the deputy fire chief of Mainburg’s fire service.

He and his fire fighting colleagues were equally unhappy with the rubber boots they had to wear at that time.

The professional shoemaker immediately took action and designed a collection of functional leather fire fighting boots for his comrades.

HAIX fire fighting boots soon gained much praise and recognition.

HAIX also started to develop boots and shoes for rescue workers and the police.

In little over 25 years Haix Safety Boots are now universally the first choice when it comes to high-quality and specialist high-tech footwear.
